A Solution Against Forged Or Counterfeit Dplomas
Nothing can stop the further internationalization and the mobility of graduates in this new worlds so called global village, as it promotes employability, enriching experiences, and unquestionably a factor of openness for learners.
As a consequence, it has becomes increasingly difficult to assess the content and validity of a diploma relied candidate without risk of error. The plurality of lessons has also induced the disruption of benchmarks and evaluation criteria and therefore, an institution may be required to deliver various types of credentials. The ever-increasing number of graduates has become a reality but at the same time the only selection criterion for getting a job is yet still a degree or diploma.
The problem is so worrisome that the European specialized institutions with the cooperation and active participation of UNESCO believed to have taken the bull by the horns by creating the label known as Diploma Supplement or DS, to be used as an instrument that has to fight against the use of fake diplomas but also international transparency of courses. As an attachment to the graduate degree, the DS is produced in two languages and the overview of the curriculum leading to the issuance of a university degree is the quintessence.
It was initially perceived as unrealistic approach that academics agreed to make SD the only bulwark against fraud recorded in the middle of higher education. Thats not true! But as it is still in its early stages, the solution has shown some limitations since the DS just created is reflected in the target of counterfeiters. By means of an era of sophistication of micro-computer and especially the transnational dimension of cybercrime, the DS may just as well forge as a GSM mobile phone in China or Driving License in Nigeria.
We easily deduce that the use of fake diplomas infects all social hierarchies, the upper echelons of states to the bottom of the pyramid. What happened at the time of ALABI GBEGAN, Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reform in Benin in 1990? It was a perceived as a publicity stunt designed to make people believe that we are always fighting evil.
Aware of all these parameters, it is important to the academic authorities of all levels and all sides now to get in line to finally provide graduates with a 'parchment that is unforgeable, unique, and unrepeatable whose authenticity can be verified from anywhere in the country and around the world.
UNESCO intends to make the African Council for Higher Education, a partner and the only body that is competent to authorize OBAC to provide higher education institutions and other universities regularly certified, sealed in the bubble label, the Diploma Tag has undoubtedly become the only way to discriminate formally, in real time and from anywhere in the world diplomas recognized by him.

The savings on direct costs and environmental impact is obvious: no paper, no transport, no loss, and the solution itself is a very attractive price.
